Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Orville Fuentes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ben Snow!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Alyssa Summers and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuentes moves out of range of the body kick.
Snow looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Snow lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Snow throws a half hearted mid kick.

Fuentes has closed the distance and engaged Snow in a clinch.
Fuentes tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Snow has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Fuentes uses from the top position.
Fuentes working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Snow is working an open guard so Fuentes takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Fuentes blocks the body kick.
Snow shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fuentes but Fuentes pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ben Snow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Snow pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Snow stuffs the takedown.
Snow looks to land a body kick but Fuentes moved away.

Fuentes pulls guard effortlessly.
Fuentes looking to hit a scissor sweep but Snow is one step ahead there.

Fuentes is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Snow won't allow Fuentes to sweep him here.

Snow gets to his feet. Fuentes looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
No joy there for Snow, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fuentes throws a quick counter kick to the body but Snow avoids it.
Snow pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Snow throws a wild body kick that Fuentes sees coming a mile off.
Fuentes appears to be looking for a big counter.
Snow throws a half hearted mid kick.

Snow rushes Fuentes and presses him up against the cage.

Snow lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Fuentes or not.
Fuentes tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Snow just stands there and leans against the cage.
Snow lands an elbow that stopped Fuentes in his tracks for a moment.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Fuentes is working for takedown but Snow is calmly controlling the position for now.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Snow.

The referee is keeping an eye on Snow - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Fuentes is looking to break free of the clinch but Snow has double underhooks.
Snow tries a knee to the head but Fuentes blocks it.
Snow blocking some punches.
Fuentes tries for a takedown but Snow manages to get underhooks.
Fuentes is trying to pull guard but Snow has him pressed against the cage.

Snow has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Snow is pressed up against the cage. Fuentes has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Snow down to the mat. Snow avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Snow bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

and Fuentes counters with a right hand to the body.
Fuentes walks forward, straight into a front kick from Snow.
Snow misses with a kick to the body.
Snow looks for the body kick but Fuentes saw that one coming.
Fuentes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Snow sprawls well. Snow wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fuentes gets slowly back to his feet.
Snow delivers a nice body kick.

Fuentes drives through and clinches with Snow against the cage.
Fuentes tries to pull guard but Snow won't allow it.
Fuentes jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Snow walks away with a smile on his face. Fuentes gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Orville Fuentes is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A good leg kick by Snow.
Snow swinging wildly here.
Snow misses with a kick to the body.
It appears Fuentes was looking to counter with a kick there.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Fuentes dives in and grabs Snow's left leg, looking for a takedown. Snow pushes down on Fuentes's head and hops out.
Fuentes slips a jab and a cross from Snow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ben Snow showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Fuentes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Snow has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Fuentes off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Ben Snow is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Fuentes lands with a left to the head.

Ben Snow comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Snow has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
