The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Oconnor scores with a knee to the head.

CC jumps into guard, dragging Oconnor to the mat.
Oconnor really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
CC wants to sweep but no luck.
Oconnor trying to control but CC is working from the bottom.
Oconnor is looking to stand up but CC won't let him.
Oconnor looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oconnor gets to his feet - CC follows without any prompting.

Oconnor stuffs the takedown.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from CC is defended easily by Oconnor.
Oconnor thinks about countering with a head kick.

CC closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Oconnor throws CC to one side and escapes!
AA CC seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oconnor tries to sprawl but CC drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Oconnor is looking to improve his position.
CC trying to mount his opponent but Oconnor defends it.
Oconnor wants to get back to his feet.

CC maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Oconnor could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but CC has cracked it and Oconnor is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by CC!
