Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Nikolaiavic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikolay Nikolov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nikolaiavic's entrance music is Kray Twinz - Round One. A fine choice. Nikolov has chosen Enemy Mindz - Emcee Of The Year as his entrance music. Nikolay Nikolov is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Nikolov both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Nikolai Nikolaiavic has been cut.
Nikolaiavic fails to land the takedown.
Nikolov lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Nikolaiavic is rocked!

Nikolaiavic gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Nikolaiavic lands a nice short elbow.
Nikolov works his way to full guard. Good work.
Nikolov utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nikolov is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Nikolaiavic throws an elbow that misses. Nikolov uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Nikolaiavic's guard. Nice move by Nikolov!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Nikolov passes Nikolaiavic's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Nikolov tries to stand and escape but Nikolaiavic is controlling the position.
Nikolaiavic pushes Nikolov off but Nikolov dives into side control.
Nikolaiavic wants to control but Nikolov postures up.
Nikolov prevents Nikolaiavic from escaping the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
I've been told that Nikolov has been drilling his wrestling of late, which has already helped him take this fight to the mat. Let's see how much of an impact it has on the outcome of the ground game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nikolov is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
I wouldn't like to be where Nikolaiavic is right now.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Nikolov lands the left hand.

Nikolov stuffs the takedown.

Nikolov feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Nikolaiavic sprawling to the canvas! Nikolaiavic rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Nikolov finish him?!
Oh Nikolaiavic is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nikolaiavic looks up at the clock. Bad move! Nikolov lands a right hand from hell, dropping Nikolaiavic. Nikolov pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nikolay Nikolov!
Nikolay Nikolov looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Bitch, don't frown, Everyone knew that you are nothing but clown, When it comes to music, I may not be as good as Usher, But in the MMA you are the can, and I am the crusher!'.
