Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yokozuna Asashoryu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Winslow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Winslow is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by KJ-52 - Let's go. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winslow misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Winslow walks into a jab.

It looks like Shane Winslow has been cut.
Winslow shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Asashoryu as he jumps to the side.
We've been hearing reports that Asashoryu has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Winslow fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A little feinted left hand from Asashoryu on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Yokozuna Asashoryu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Winslow.

Asashoryu lands a big head kick that sends Winslow tumbling to the mat! Asashoryu takes a step backwards and waves Winslow back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Asashoryu lands a leg kick that knocks Winslow off balance momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Winslow closes the distance and clinches up with Asashoryu, looking for a takedown. Winslow pushes Asashoryu against the cage but Asashoryu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A head kick misses from Asashoryu.
Asashoryu throws a powerful right kick. Winslow tried to block low but the kick was high! Winslow was taken right off of his feet! Asashoryu jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Yokozuna Asashoryu!
After the fight, Yokozuna Asashoryu was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
