Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Arjan Kush and Kyle Rad. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Arjan Kush! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 11 wins and 2 losses; Kyle Rad!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Kush shoots in looking for a takedown. Rad tries to sprawl out of it but Kush keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rad manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Rad moves into the clinch.

Rad ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Rad no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Rad looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Kush drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rad looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rad looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rad!

Let's hope that Rad has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Kush stops Rad from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kush has gone for a leg lock! Rad slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kush's guard.

Kush had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rad defends it easily.

Kush isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Rad stacks Kush on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Rad!

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rad is looking to take a break and control but Kush is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
