The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Novotas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Esposito manages to avoid it.
Esposito misses with a hook
and Novotas counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Esposito definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Novotas's coach down at Island Top Team was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Novotas's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Esposito ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Esposito no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Esposito is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Novotas rolls with it to try and escape but Esposito cranks on the arm and Novotas is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
