Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Toby Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emanuel Radson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Igor Prikhodko and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Powers feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Radson wants to stand but Powers is controlling the position.
Powers slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Powers has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Radson is proving hard to escape from.
Powers working some strikes from top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Powers is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Powers lands a nice short elbow.
Still in half guard, Powers seems content to control.

Radson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Powers is working away from the top position though.

Despite the aggression on Radson's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Radson misses with a low kick.
Powers is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Radson.

Powers fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Radson, pushing him back against the cage.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Radson enables Powers to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Radson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Toby Powers overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Radson is looking to sweep but instead, Powers has passed into half guard.

Radson wants to control from the top but Powers keeps moving.
Powers pulls Radson in to control the position.
Radson prevents Powers from getting back to his feet.

Powers had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Radson defends it easily.

Radson gets to his feet. Powers looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Powers instigates a clinch.
Radson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Powers is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Radson can do to turn this around?

Powers turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Powers in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Powers content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Radson wants to control but Powers postures up.

Powers takes advantage of some sloppy striking from Radson to pass into mount.

Powers is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Radson wants to hold on but Powers pushes him away.
Powers content just to control the position here.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!



Powers closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Radson did well to prevent Powers getting side control.

Radson manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Powers keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Powers escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Powers misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Radson.
Radson shoots for a double leg takedown but Powers sprawls well. He's pushed Radson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Powers counters by moving into the clinch.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Powers tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Radson wants to get up but he can't break Powers's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Powers is looking to stand up but Radson isn't so interested in that idea.
Powers looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Radson wants to control from the top but Powers keeps moving.

With the fighters up against the cage, Powers throws an elbow but misses.
Powers manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Radson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Powers is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Radson to the mat. Radson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Radson wants to get back to his feet but Powers passes into half guard.

Radson is trying to get back to full guard.

Powers is working hard here to advance position.

Powers is taking a breather. Radson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Powers drops an elbow to the side of Radson's head.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Radson is looking for a sweep. Powers is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Radson tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Powers has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Radson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Powers controlling the pace for now.
Radson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Powers pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Emanuel Radson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
