Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nova Zigaman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Voodoo People. The key to victory for Thomas Johnson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zigaman throws a lazy uppercut
and Johnson counters with a nice uppercut.
Johnson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice body punch from Zigaman.
Johnson with a poor takedown

and Zigaman counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Johnson tries to score a body lock takedown but Zigaman shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Zigaman is pressed up against the cage. Johnson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Zigaman down to the mat. Zigaman avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thomas Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Johnson walks into a jab.

Zigaman gets the takedown into side control.
Johnson is trying to improve his position.
Zigaman postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Johnson trying his best to control but Zigaman has mounted him.
BOOM! Zigaman connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Zigaman looking to control but Johnson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zigaman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Zigaman cracks Johnson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Zigaman lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
A nice elbow there by Zigaman.
Johnson is bucking up trying to escape but Zigaman cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Johnson is rocked!

It looks like Thomas Johnson has been cut.

Johnson is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Johnson is squirming around, avoiding Zigaman's attempts to control the action.
Zigaman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Zigaman pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Zigaman unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Johnson wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Zigaman celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
