The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pits moves forwards but Matias connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Matias dodges the punch combination from Pits.
A nice inside leg kick there by Matias. That's going to slow Pits down.
Matias lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Kyle Pits has been cut.

Matias rushes Pits and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Pits walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Matias checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Matias looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Matias takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Matias looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Matias darts in looking for a takedown but Pits gets double underhooks and turns Matias into the cage.
