The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vitor misses with a kick to the body.
De Guia is trying hard to land a takedown here. Vitor sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Vitor content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
De Guia struggling a bit here.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
De Guia tries to lock up and control but Vitor gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
De Guia sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
De Guia on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

De Guia is looking for a sweep. Vitor is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Vitor tries to pass the half guard into mount. De Guia knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Vitor lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Vitor is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Vitor lands a couple of good shots and De Guia has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Vitor has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. De Guia is defending well but eventually Vitor manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! De Guia has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
