Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tung Fo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trenton Funkhouser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tung Fo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trenton Funkhouser!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Funkhouser drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Funkhouser stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fo can't keep his opponent in guard - Funkhouser advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The fighters are battling for position here. Fo manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

That was a close round but I would say that Tung Fo will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Funkhouser slaps away a takedown attempt from Fo, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Funkhouser's coach down at LOD: Lightning Kicks (MaxID266K) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Funkhouser's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Fo shoots in and drives through. Funkhouser sprawls well.
