The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Varner stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Universe.
Varner misses with a takedown attempt - Universe sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Universe jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Varner shoots in and drives through. Universe sprawls well.
