Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Algot Uggla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fyodor Pending (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uggla misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Pending gets caught flat footed, as Uggla shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Uggla not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Uggla sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pending's guard.

Uggla looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pending is trying to get back to full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Uggla is taking a breather. Pending says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Uggla will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Pending works his way to full guard. Good work.
Uggla passes Pending's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Still in half guard, Uggla seems content to control.
