Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jamal Morris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Philippe Allaire!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allaire throws a head kick that misses
and Morris counters with a nice double leg into side control. Allaire won't be happy with that.
Allaire wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Allaire really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Morris. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Morris decides to stand back up. Morris steps back and let's Allaire get back to his feet.
Allaire fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Morris, pushing him back against the cage.
Allaire breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Morris tries to keep at a distance but Allaire has taken the fight into the clinch.
Morris is trying to stall.
Allaire pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Allaire throws a head kick that misses.
Morris really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Allaire is looking to score with low kicks.
Morris tries to counter by clinching up but Allaire breaks away and moves out of range.
Allaire fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Morris, pushing him back against the cage.
Morris jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Allaire walks away with a smile on his face. Morris gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Allaire landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

It looks like Jamal Morris has been cut.

Allaire breaks the clinch.
Allaire connects with a single shot there.
Morris is rocked!

Oh Morris is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A knee to the head by Allaire.
Allaire jerks Morris's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Morris drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Allaire goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Allaire because Morris was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Philippe Allaire!
