Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabian Mest (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mest is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Denzel Curry - Ultimate. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mest rushes Anderson and presses him up against the cage.
Anderson cracks Mest with a nice body shot.

Anderson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mest is controlling him.
Anderson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mest on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Anderson pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Anderson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Anderson decides to stand and escape the position.
Anderson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The fight stays on the outside here - Anderson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Anderson tries to clinch but Mest is having none of it.

Anderson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mest tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Anderson is in Mest's guard.

Anderson stands and steps away. Mest gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

It looks like Fabian Mest has been cut.
Anderson lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Mest or not.

Mest closes the distance and clinches up with Anderson, looking for a takedown. Mest pushes Anderson against the cage but Anderson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Mest prevents Anderson from getting back to his feet.
Anderson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Anderson wants to get back to his feet but Mest is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Mest tries to keep at a distance but Anderson has taken the fight into the clinch.
Mest is still on wobbly legs! Can Anderson finish him?
Anderson jumps guard but Mest turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Anderson has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Mest - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Anderson, and another! Mest is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
