Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frank Gibiatti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Huddlestone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gibiatti's entrance music is The Transplants - DJ DJ. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Huddlestone feints and as Gibiatti raises his hands in defense, Huddlestone changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Huddlestone decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Gibiatti takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Huddlestone drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Gibiatti has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Huddlestone can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gibiatti is on top in guard.

Huddlestone is looking to stand up but Gibiatti isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Huddlestone is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Gibiatti is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Gibiatti has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Gibiatti is looking to work some ground and pound but Huddlestone has wrist control.

Huddlestone is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Huddlestone is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gibiatti is controlling him.

Gibiatti is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Huddlestone defends it well.
Huddlestone pushes Gibiatti off looking to stand but Gibiatti dives back in and keeps control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Gibiatti is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Huddlestone is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Frank Gibiatti tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
