Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kristian Berg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buzzard Jigsawz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buzzard Jigsawz will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jigsawz lands a body shot.
Berg fails with the takedown
and Jigsawz counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Kristian Berg has been cut.

Jigsawz's coach down at ReVoLuT!oN !sL@nD GYM was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Jigsawz's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Berg shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Jigsawz counters with a stiff right hand.

Berg manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jigsawz on his heels. He'll look to pass Jigsawz's guard now, I'm sure.
Berg throws a strike but Jigsawz rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Jigsawz drops back looking for a leg! Berg is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Berg manages to kick Jigsawz off! Jigsawz jumps back into Berg's guard.
Jigsawz is fighting to break Berg's control of his arms but Berg is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Berg is looking to stand up but Jigsawz isn't so interested in that idea.

Berg keeping moving, preventing Jigsawz from controlling successfully.

Berg could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Jigsawz tries to free his leg and advance position but Berg is retaining full guard.
Berg wants to stand but Jigsawz is controlling the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Berg closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jigsawz to the mat! Jigsawz manages to get full guard.

Berg looks to move to half guard but instead Jigsawz has passed into mount! Damn!

Berg has his takedown stuffed
and Jigsawz makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Berg changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jigsawz tries to avoid it but Berg manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jigsawz to the ground. Jigsawz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jigsawz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Berg moves away.
Jigsawz is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Jigsawz connects with a good right hand that stumbles Berg. Berg circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Berg looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jigsawz gets in close and tags Berg with a short punch that almost sends Berg to the mat! Oh Berg is in big trouble! He turns his back on Jigsawz, trying to create some distance but Jigsawz rushes him, striking wildly and Berg goes down! The referee tackles Jigsawz into the cage to end the fight! Jigsawz is one violent man!
