He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
John stuffs the takedown attempt from Bamgbose. Bamgbose gets slowly back to his feet.
Bamgbose shoots in and drives through. John sprawls well.
John lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

John bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Bamgbose is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so John is just riding it out for now. Bamgbose eventually gives up the hold.
