The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marveux closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Johnson did well to prevent Marveux getting side control.
Johnson wants to control but Marveux is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Johnson is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Marveux is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Marveux is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Johnson has managed to free his arm - good work.

Marveux is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Johnson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Marveux.

After the fight, Anthony Marveux was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
