Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Alonzo Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tweedle Dum!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dum throws a shot from downtown. Harris moves away and avoids it.
Harris uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dum has time to react.
Harris misses with a lunging right hand
and Dum counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Harris falls off balance throwing a combination
and Dum counters with a slapping leg kick.
Harris cracks a nice hook into Dum's ribs.
Alonzo Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A chopping leg kick lands by Dum.
Dum takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Harris throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dum stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Dum dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Harris misses with a few strikes there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Dum counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Dum throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Harris stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Dum is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Harris with a body shot.

Dum keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dum looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Harris avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Harris misses with an uppercut
and Dum counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Harris throws a hook to the side of Dum's head but Dum sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

A nice inside leg kick there by Dum. That's going to slow Harris down.
Harris lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dum at a distance.
Harris moves away from the strike by Dum.
Harris is looking for a counter combo.
Dum is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Harris wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Harris gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Dum - that will leave a mark!
Tweedle Dum is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dum tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Harris manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dum throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Harris is looking to wear down Dum with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Dum throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Harris decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dum's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dum looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Harris is pushing down on Dum's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dum is fighting to maintain full guard but Harris has managed to sneak the leg through.
Dum has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Harris thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dum's head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dum wants to improve his position but Harris is controlling well.
Dum gets back to full guard.
Harris might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Dum can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Harris controls the pace.

Dum lets loose with a powerful body kick. Harris will feel that in the morning.

Harris bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Harris has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Harris looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Harris accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Harris with a flurry of punches that miss.
Dum has his hands on Harris's head, controlling the position.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Harris's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Harris is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dum is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dum has escaped and now he's on top!

That was a close second round but I would say that Alonzo Harris will probably get the nod.

A little feinted left hand from Harris on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alonzo Harris. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fighters circling - Dum throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Harris shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dum as he jumps to the side.
Harris misses with a few strikes there.

Harris drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Dum is pressed up against the cage. Harris has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dum down to the mat. Dum avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tweedle Dum comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Dum has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
