Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ben Mcado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masa Hattori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masa Hattori has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcado lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hattori circles away quickly and effectively.
Hattori doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Mcado has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Harambe Remembrance Hall in the buildup to the fight.
Mcado looks to land a combination but Hattori avoids it well.
Mcado misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mcado throws a body shot but no joy.
Hattori lands with an overhand left.
Hattori avoids the body shot from Mcado.
Hattori is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Mcado fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Mcado throws an off balance right hand

and Hattori moves into the clinch.

Hattori lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Hattori digs a right hand underneath Mcado's ribcage. Mcado let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Mcado wants to break free but Hattori has control.

Hattori's coach down at Harambe Remembrance Hall was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hattori's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Oh Mcado is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hattori is pushing Mcado up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Hattori creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Mcado with a big uppercut! Mcado tries to clinch up but Hattori pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Mcado to the mat! Mcado covers up and Hattori unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
