Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jimmy Bagman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rhys Edwards!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Michael Johnstone and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bagman scores with a body shot.
Edwards changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bagman tries to avoid it but Edwards manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bagman to the ground. Bagman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Edwards shoots in looking for a takedown. Bagman tries to sprawl out of it but Edwards keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bagman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
It looked like Bagman was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Bagman lands a nice shot that snaps Edwards's head back.
Edwards goes for a double leg but Bagman avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bagman continues to drive forward.
Jimmy Bagman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rhys Edwards.
Bagman lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looked like Bagman wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Edwards is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Bagman's shoulder. That is not cool.

It looks like Edwards might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Bagman is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Edwards asserts his dominance and retains side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bagman connects with a good right hand that stumbles Edwards. Edwards circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Edwards takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Bagman throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Edwards stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Bagman cracks Edwards with a right hand to the side of the head.
Edwards with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bagman to score with a decent uppercut.
Bagman lands a jab.
Edwards slips a straight right by Bagman.
Edwards feints the counter takedown.
Bagman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Edwards can do to turn this around?

Bagman throws a right and a left that Edwards avoids nicely.
Edwards darts in looking for a takedown but Bagman gets double underhooks and turns Edwards into the cage.

Edwards has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Bagman is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Edwards yanks on the arm and Bagman is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Edwards.
