Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexi Laiho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronald Fredrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laiho comes into the arena with Cold Sweat/ Thin Lizzy blaring out of the sound system. Fredrick is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz: Throw It Up. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by Laiho. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Laiho.
Laiho misses with a double jab.
Fredrick tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Fredrick fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
No luck for Fredrick with that takedown attempt.
Laiho uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
A shot to the liver by Laiho. Beautiful body shot.
Laiho scores with a decent looking hook.
Laiho throws a body shot but no joy.
Fredrick is trying hard to land a takedown here. Laiho sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Alexi Laiho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronald Fredrick.

Laiho pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Fredrick back to the cage. Laiho follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Laiho scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Fredrick doesn't seem bothered though.
Laiho's corner calls for a 1-2. Laiho obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Fredrick is rocked!

Fredrick seems to have recovered his senses.
Laiho lands a jab to Fredrick's midsection.
Laiho cracks a nice hook into Fredrick's ribs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fredrick dives in and grabs Laiho's left leg, looking for a takedown. Laiho pushes down on Fredrick's head and hops out.
Fredrick looks winded!
Fredrick doesn't manage to clinch there - Laiho circles away.
Laiho avoids the head kick by Fredrick.

Laiho cracks Fredrick with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Laiho drops Fredrick with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Fredrick looks back up at him and smiles so Laiho waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Laiho cracks Fredrick with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Fredrick falls to his knees and Laiho doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
