TWGC 13 (135lbs, D1): Finals - Round 1 PBP Commentary


Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Ivan Putski and Jason Mewes. Putski kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Aids . Ivan Putski is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 8 wins and 3 losses; Ivan Putski! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Jason Mewes!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Mewes feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Mewes is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Putski knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Putski for a finish.

After winning the bout, Ivan Putski thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
