Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corey Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parker comes to the cage accompanied by The House of The Rising Sun - The Animals. Smith has chosen 10 Years - All White as his entrance music. Johnny Smith has the better chin. Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jorge Garcia and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Parker.
Parker bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Smith's head.
Johnny Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith misses the body punch
letting Parker counter with a right hand.
Smith throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Parker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Parker lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Parker ducks under a wild hook from Smith.
Parker lands a left and a right that send Smith crashing to the mat, dazed. Parker thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Johnny Smith has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smith throws a chopping leg kick but Parker manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Parker is looking to counter the offense by Smith and move into the clinch.
Smith misses with a wild body shot.
Smith throws a jab when Parker was well out of range.
It looked like Parker was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Parker displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Smith.
No luck for Smith with that takedown attempt.
Smith changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Parker tries to avoid it but Smith manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Parker to the ground. Parker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Parker is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Smith.
Corey Parker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Smith.
Smith tries for a takedown but Parker circles away easily
and Parker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Smith throws a lazy right hand but Parker sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Parker attempts a counter takedown but Smith avoids it well and moves away.
Smith swings away with a body shot that misses
and Parker counters with an inside leg kick.
Smith with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Parker throws out a loose jab but Smith uses good head movement to avoid it.
Parker shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Smith napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Smith is trying to get back to half guard.
Parker wants to stand but Smith is controlling his arm.
Smith is looking for a sweep.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Parker defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Smith.
Parker works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Smith pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Smith. Parker does a little dance to reset his feet.
Parker throws a right and a left that both miss.
Smith takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Smith fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Parker checks it well.
Smith darts in trying to clinch
and Parker counters with a series of strikes. Smith will be more careful next time no doubt.
No joy there for Smith, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Smith throws a head kick that misses.
Smith throws an off balance right hand
and Parker connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Smith ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Parker moves away.
Smith tries a head kick but it misses.
Smith keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Johnny Smith's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Smith throws a sloppy head kick and Parker moves out of range easily.
Smith has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Parker finds it's way round the side to connect with Smith's head.
Parker scores with the left hand. Smith knows he should have avoided that one.
Parker drops Smith with a huge uppercut! Smith drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Parker is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Corey Parker!
