Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brij Khali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julian Reis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

With a record of 25 - 24 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Julian Reis!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Khali drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The fighters are battling for position here. Reis manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Reis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Khali can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Khali wants to get up but he can't break Reis's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Reis looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Khali is defending well. Reis quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Khali has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Reis celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

A less than humble Julian Reis misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
Brij Khali spoke after the fight, saying 'Dissapointed to Lose'.
