Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Strom Berg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Win Vip I!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berg scores with a sloppy right hand. Vip I should have avoided that one.
A decent looking cross lands there for Berg.


Vip I is rocked!
Berg throws a hook but Vip I avoids it easily.
Vip I is still on wobbly legs! Can Berg finish him?
Vip I looks to land a combination but Berg avoids it well.
Berg is looking to counter punch.
Berg with a hook.
Vip I uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Berg.
Vip I lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
A jab from Berg misses.
Vip I fails in his attempt to clinch.
Win Vip I seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Vip I looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Berg was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Vip I scores with a jab. Berg acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Berg throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Vip I to counter with a crisp jab.
Vip I on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Berg throws a body shot but no joy.
Vip I seems to have recovered his senses.
Berg misses with an uppercut.
Vip I misses with the combination.
Vip I scores with a nice head shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vip I tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Vip I clinches up against the cage.
Vip I prevents a body shot from Berg.
Vip I swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Berg goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Vip I misses with a hook from the clinch.
Berg lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
A short body shot lands from Vip I as the two fighters clinch.
Vip I taking a breather.
A right handed body shot lands from Berg.

Berg successfully pulls guard.

Vip I is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Berg has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Vip I is looking to defend but Berg has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Vip I! Berg pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Vip I taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Strom Berg!
