The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bondarenko.
Bondarenko shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Savage sprawls well. Savage wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bondarenko gets slowly back to his feet.
Bondarenko gets a clinch.
Savage landing knees to the head.
Bondarenko jumps into guard, dragging Savage to the mat.
Savage is looking to stand up but Bondarenko won't let him.
Savage throwing strikes from guard but Bondarenko blocks nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Savage throws a strike but Bondarenko rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Bondarenko drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Bondarenko as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Savage screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Bondarenko! Nice submission victory there!
