Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Etan Seeman!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Seeman defends well and Smith ends up having to push Seeman into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Smith fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Smith has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Smith clinches with his opponent.
Seeman displaying some good clinch control by pressing Smith up against the cage.
Seeman tries to land knees in the clinch but Smith avoids the damage to the body.
Smith wants to break the clinch but can't.
Seeman misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Seeman is defending well against a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chad Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith is trying to drag Seeman to the mat but Seeman just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Smith manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Smith is trying to pull guard but Seeman turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Smith has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Seeman after a bit of a struggle.

Seeman lands a hook that snaps the head of Smith backwards.
A nice right hand lands inside from Seeman.

Smith has hold of one of Seeman's legs. Seeman is fighting the takedown attempt but Smith gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Seeman seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Seeman looking to hit a scissor sweep but Smith is one step ahead there.
Smith with a flurry of punches that miss.
Smith throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Seeman works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Seeman wants to sweep here but Smith controlling him for the moment.
Smith wants to control from the top but Seeman keeps moving.
Smith trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Seeman controls Smith momentarily but Smith frees himself.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Smith closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Smith takes an elbow to the temple.
Smith has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Seeman avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Seeman lands a shot to the body.
Seeman lands a body punch in the clinch.
Seeman struggles to land a body shot inside as Smith controls his hands.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Seeman landing knees to the body.
Seeman lands with a light punch inside.
Seeman lands a nice knee to the body.
Seeman stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Etan Seeman dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!



Seeman drops Smith with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Smith looks back up at him and smiles so Seeman waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Seeman is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Smith like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Smith from another fist facial!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Etan Seeman!
Etan Seeman made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Whos your DADDY?'.
