A fine choice. David Masters looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gay closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A short body shot lands from Gay as the two fighters clinch.
Gay gets through Masters's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Gay breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Gay has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Masters uses from the top position.
Masters really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Gay is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Masters rolls with it to try and escape but Gay cranks on the arm and Masters is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Rudy Gay spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
