Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dark Terror (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franky Yip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Franky Yip!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terror lands with a nice combination. Yip backs away looking to recover.

Yip feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Yip postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yip sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yip wants to control from the top but Terror keeps moving.
Yip throws a strike but Terror rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yip keeping moving, preventing Terror from controlling successfully.
Yip has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Yip is trying to control the position but Terror postures up.

Yip is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Terror defends well.
Terror definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Yip is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Yip is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Terror frees his head nicely. Oh but Yip has switched to an armbar! Terror is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
