The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beast uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Buro has time to react.
Beast thows a leg kick but Buro checks it

Beast throws a low kick, looking for Buro's leg but Buro calmly moves out of range.
Beast fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Buro manages to avoid it.

Buro is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Izzy Beast seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Beast lands with a hook. Buro tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Buro lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Beast connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Buro's hands.

It looks like Buro has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

It looked like Buro wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Beast throws a shot from downtown. Buro moves away and avoids it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Brain Buro will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Good work by Buro as he checks the leg kick.
Buro clobbers Beast with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Beast takes a jab right on the kisser.
Buro connects with a looping right hand.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Beast might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Buro has got the better of the exchanges.
Beast throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Buro bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Beast's head backwards.
Buro throws a combination. Beast tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

and Buro counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Beast! He's just covering up as Buro starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
