Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Chester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Decimus Servatius Valens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Decimus Servatius Valens will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chester throws a left and a right that both miss
and Servatius Valens connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Chester throws a series of punches but Servatius Valens moves out of range.
Chester fails with a takedown attempt.
Chester tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Servatius Valens swivels and escapes.

Chester drops back looking for a leg! Servatius Valens is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Servatius Valens manages to kick Chester off! Chester jumps back into Servatius Valens's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Servatius Valens is looking to sweep but instead, Chester has passed into half guard.
Servatius Valens tries to kick Chester off but Chester keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Chester has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Chester uses his free foot to push down on Servatius Valens's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Servatius Valens.

Servatius Valens really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chester. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Chester jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Servatius Valens manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Chester is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Servatius Valens is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Chester looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Chester has an Americana. Servatius Valens didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Chester is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Chester hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

John Chester decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
