Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mr Noodle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcelo Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Ryoma Takatsuka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Noodle fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Garcia with the counter takedown but Noodle avoids it easily.
Garcia avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Noodle bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Garcia explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Noodle definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Garcia tries to advance to mount but Noodle denies him.
Noodle pushes Garcia away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Garcia gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Noodle will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Noodle makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Noodle throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Garcia stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
