The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lowe closes the distance and clinches.
Lowe goes for a takedown in the clinch but Le Tallec prevents it.

Le Tallec pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Le Tallec closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Le Tallec lands in his opponent's guard.

Lowe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Le Tallec on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Le Tallec has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
