Krakowiak's entrance music is O.S.T.R & Kasta - Dzis ide walczyc mamo. A fine choice. Barack Obama has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jacek Krakowiak's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jacek Krakowiak!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barack Obama!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obama pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Krakowiak back to the cage. Obama follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Krakowiak dodges the punch combination from Obama.
Obama throws a lazy uppercut
and Krakowiak makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Obama feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Obama stands and throws Krakowiak's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Krakowiak is looking for a sweep.

Obama thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Obama tries for a kimura but Krakowiak is defending well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Obama tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Obama has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Krakowiak's coaches at School Of Fighting have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Obama is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Krakowiak knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Obama is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Krakowiak is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Obama is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Krakowiak has escaped the position, nice work there.

Obama tries to pull guard but Krakowiak won't allow it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Krakowiak throws an overhand right that lands on Obama's shoulder, as Obama tries to avoid the shot.

Obama misses with a hook. Krakowiak ducked under it nicely.

Obama drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Krakowiak pushes Obama off and scrambles back to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Obama throws a nice looking combination but Krakowiak bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Obama fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Krakowiak avoids it really well and circles away.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Krakowiak throws a leg kick but Obama checks it.
Obama is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Obama might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Krakowiak connects with a body shot that sends Obama's belly button to the back.

Krakowiak scores with a sloppy right hand. Obama should have avoided that one.


Obama is rocked!
Obama takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Obama is still on wobbly legs! Can Krakowiak finish him?
The crowd cheers as Krakowiak lands an impressive looking overhand right. Obama doesn't seem phased though.
Krakowiak cracks Obama with a hook to the temple - Obama is on wobbly legs here! Krakowiak swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Obama falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Krakowiak wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jacek Krakowiak!
