Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Mosby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tantalus Flay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flay is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Outerspace- Revolution. Tantalus Flay has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Daniel Mosby!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tantalus Flay!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mosby checks the leg kick.

Flay has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
A lazy left from Mosby finds it's target.
Flay bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Flay avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Mosby ducks under a wild hook from Flay.
Mosby looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Flay lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

The fighters circling - Flay throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Flay lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Some bone on bone action there as Flay checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Mosby slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Mosby takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Flay misses with a body punch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Mosby bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Flay connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Mosby has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mosby there as he acknowledges the shot.

Flay fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mosby.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Flay goes for a double leg but Mosby avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mosby continues to drive forward.

Mosby is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Flay doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mosby.

Mosby is looking for a kimura but Flay is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mosby to get the leverage.

Mosby seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Flay does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Flay seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mosby does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

and Mosby decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Flay's guard.
Flay preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Mosby stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Flay swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Mosby drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Flay dives on top into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Flay got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mosby has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Flay has managed to get both his arms back between Mosby's legs - danger averted.
Flay connects with a couple of short punches.

Flay is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Flay looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mosby with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Flay perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mosby has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Flay is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Mosby.

Mosby has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Flay is working away from the top position though.

Flay is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Mosby is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Mosby flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Flay anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Mosby and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Flay slips an arm under Mosby chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Flay has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Flay is squeezing on Mosby like an anaconda would it's prey. Mosby fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

A relieved looking Tantalus Flay thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
