The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Abner defends well and Davis ends up having to push Abner into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
A punch lands to the side of Davis 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Abner drops Davis with a beautiful combination! Davis stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Abner is looking for the KO!

It looks like Marcus Davis has been cut.
Abner has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Davis tries for a takedown but Abner sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Davis fails with a takedown attempt.
