Por Boonsit comes to the cage accompanied by Z-Hot / From the deepest corner . Buttesen has chosen Svennebanan as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Por Boonsit closes the distance and lands a one-two.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Por Boonsit creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Por Boonsit fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Buttesen looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Buttesen prevents the takedown attempt.
Buttesen has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Por Boonsit avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Buttesen makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Buttesen prevents Por Boonsit from getting back to his feet.

Buttesen drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Buttesen seems to have locked his on tight now - Por Boonsit screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Buttesen, as he picks up the win!

A determined Mikel Buttesen didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
