Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eliseo David!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Moore!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore shoots in for a double leg but David sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
David went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Moore shoots in but David avoids the takedown attempt easily.
David lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Moore fails with the takedown

and David counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by David.
Eliseo David has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Moore.
David keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Moore's efforts to push away.
A frustrated look appears on Moore's face as he tries to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
David keeps control of Moore as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

David's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
David stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and David wants it to stay on the feet.
Moore tries for a takedown but David sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Moore misses with a takedown attempt - David sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Moore shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has David pinned against the cage. David gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

David closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Moore to the mat! Moore manages to get full guard.

David stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Moore has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! David manages to get his head free but now Moore has transitioned to an armbar! David grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Moore! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jake Moore!
