The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batts throws a jab but it's blocked by Morato.
Morato missing with a left hand there. Batts was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Batts throwing a counter right hand but Morato manages to avoid it.
Batts misses with a head kick.

Batts manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Morato on his heels. He'll look to pass Morato's guard now, I'm sure.
Batts postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Batts content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Batts is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Morato is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Morato has escaped and now he's on top!

Batts trying to keep a closed guard but Morato is proving a slippery customer.

Batts has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Morato can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Morato is looking to stand up but Batts won't let him.

Morato wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Batts's closed guard. He's half up but Batts has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Batts pivots and extends the arm, Morato falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Batts! Well done that man!
