The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farkenheil fails with the takedown.
Kent throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Farkenheil shoots in for a double leg but Kent sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kent looks to score with a jab to the body but Farkenheil is just out of range.

Kent moves into range and clinches up with Farkenheil.
Kent unloads a knee to the mid-section. Farkenheil lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Farkenheil is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Kent is defending well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sig Farkenheil. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Farkenheil wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kent has him pressed against the cage.
Kent looking to throw knees to the head but Farkenheil is blocking nicely.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kent jerks Farkenheil's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Farkenheil drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Kent goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Kent because Farkenheil was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
