The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Mo coming out on top.
Mo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Ross throws a head kick that misses.
Mo ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Mo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Coffee Shop in the buildup to the fight.
Ross throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Ross uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mo.
Mo slips a jab from Ross.
Mo blocks a head kick by Ross.
Mo takes a swing at Ross's ribcage but misses.
Mo scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Ross is rocked!

It looks like Irvin Ross has been cut.
Ross takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Mo throws a sloppy body shot
and Mo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Mo jabs Ross to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Ross bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ross slips a jab and a cross from Mo.

Mo throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ross throws out a loose jab but Mo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nice body kick from Ross.
Ross throws a wild body kick that Mo sees coming a mile off.

Nice uppercut there from Ross.
Mo moves away from the strike by Ross.
Ross displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mo throws out the jab.
A shot to the body from Mo misses
and Ross connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ross lets loose with a powerful body kick. Mo will feel that in the morning.
Mo looks to throw the jab but Ross is out of range.
Mo misses with a right hand
and Ross counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Mo is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Mo drops Ross with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ross looks back up at him and smiles so Mo waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Ross is still on wobbly legs! Can Mo finish him?

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mo knocks out Ross with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Mo before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Mo picks up the big W with a huge KO!
