Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between I Know Wrestling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Gold will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, I Know Wrestling!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Gold!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Columbo Gatti and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wrestling digs a good body shot into Gold's ribs.
Wrestling throws a body punch but Gold moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wrestling. Gold does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wrestling shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Gold connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Wrestling looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jack Gold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gold connects with a solid leg kick.
Gold throws a sloppy body shot
and Wrestling counters with a straight right hand.
Wrestling gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Gold defending well as Wrestling loads up on a big left hand.

Gold throws a looping overhand right but Wrestling ducks down to avoid it.

and Wrestling cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Gold comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A slow jab from Wrestling misses its intended target.
Gold changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Gold will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jack Gold is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Wrestling ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gold moves away.
A countering left hand to the body from Gold misses.
Gold lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Wrestling throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gold throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Gold dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wrestling. That did some damage!
Wrestling takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Gold dips to his left and cracks Wrestling with an uppercut!

Some wild striking there from Wrestling.
Gold displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wrestling throws out the jab.
Wrestling swings away with a body shot that misses
and Gold counters with a slapping leg kick.
Wrestling misses the shot to the body.
Gold fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wrestling.
Gold scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Gold connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Gold takes a swing at Wrestling's ribcage but misses.
Gold throws a chopping leg kick but Wrestling manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Gold bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Wrestling's head backwards.
Gold is a very stocky fighter. Infact he's such a weird shape that he's almost like some sort of comedy character - it's hard to believe he's real.
Gold lunges at Wrestling with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Wrestling's hand.
Wrestling misses with a shot to the body
and Gold makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wrestling misses the shot to the body.
Wrestling takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Gold has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Gold looks to land a right hand but Wrestling moved out of range.

Wrestling on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Wrestling closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gold did well to prevent Wrestling getting side control.

Gold pushes Wrestling off and gets back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Gold throws a nice outside leg kick.
Wrestling changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Wrestling tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gold was well out of range. Poor timing from Wrestling.
Gold scores with a hook to the body. Wrestling takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Gold fails to land with a series of punches.
Wrestling throws a nice looking combination but Gold bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Gold throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wrestling stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Wrestling counters with a takedown into side control.
Gold sneaks back into half guard.
Gold tries to roll over but Wrestling keeps him under control.
Wrestling throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Wrestling scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Gold is looking to improve his position.
Gold has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wrestling is working away from the top position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gold works his way to full guard. Good work.

Wrestling postures up in Gold's guard and throws a big left but Gold blocks it.
Gold has Wrestling pulled in close to control his posture.
Wrestling postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Wrestling looking to sit in guard and control but Gold gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Gold has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Gold is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Wrestling is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

It looked like Wrestling was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Gold.
That kick from Gold tenderised Wrestling's leg. Wrestling is trying to keep his angry face on.
Wrestling throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Wrestling fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gold manages to avoid it.

Gold works over Wrestling's head and body with a nice combination.
Wrestling has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gold finds it's way round the side to connect with Wrestling's head.

Wrestling throws a lazy uppercut
letting Gold counter with a right hand.
Oh Wrestling is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

BOOM! Gold lands a beautiful left hook that drops Wrestling. Wrestling tries to recover but Gold is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Wrestling lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:07 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Gold!
In his post fight interview, Jack Gold started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
