Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Oliver Smith has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Oliver Smith seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Vega jumps guard and drags Smith to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Smith wants to get up but he can't break Vega's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Vega is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Smith has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Vega celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
