The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Strashko drives through with a takedown into De Bruin's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Strashko slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Strashko is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Strashko connects with a couple of short punches.
Strashko distracts De Bruin with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Strashko is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

De Bruin is rocked!
Strashko loads up on a big left hand. De Bruin felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Strashko looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! De Bruin can't hide his disappointment, as Strashko celebrates the victory.
