Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Humberto Lima!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Curuja Negra!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lima feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Negra scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Lima dives in and grabs Negra's left leg, looking for a takedown. Negra pushes down on Lima's head and hops out.
Negra's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Negra duly obliges.

It looks like Humberto Lima has been cut.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Negra enables Lima to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Negra manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Negra controlling the position.
Lima content to stall in guard here.
Lima wants to control from the top but Negra keeps moving.
Negra can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lima controls the pace.
Lima has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Negra wants to stand up but Lima is controlling him.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Lima trying to control the position from guard on top but Negra is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Negra does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Negra displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Negra stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Negra wants it to stay on the feet.
Negra steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Lima.
Lima walks forward, straight into a front kick from Negra.
Lima is breathing heavily.
Lima ducks right into an uppercut from Negra.
Lima throws a wild hook but Negra just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Lima gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Negra raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
