Calirante comes to the cage accompanied by Bob Marley - I Shot The Sheriff. Santiago Calirante could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Paul Landen's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Landen misses with a low kick.

and Calirante counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Calirante won't allow Landen to sweep him here.

Calirante stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Landen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A little jabbing left from Landen on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Calirante moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Landen throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Calirante.

Landen throws a hook to the side of Calirante's head but Calirante sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Calirante swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Calirante tries a low kick but Landen avoids it.

and Landen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Calirante lands a jab to the nose.

Calirante misses with a kick to the body
and Landen finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
The fighters circle momentarily. Landen darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Calirante bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Landen feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Calirantes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Calirante cracks Landen with a right hand to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Landen takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
A decent looking cross lands there for Landen.

Jab from Calirante.
Calirante throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Calirante cracks Landen with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Calirante drops his hands momentarily and Landen takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
A low kick from Landen is predictable there
and Calirante counters with a nice kick to the body.
Calirante is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Landen.
Calirante connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Landen momentarily.
Landen is still on wobbly legs! Can Calirante finish him?
and Calirante counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Landen! He's just covering up as Calirante starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
