The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charles tries to move into range but Mcguire moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Mcguire throws a right and a left that Charles avoids nicely.
Charles drops down looking for a counter takedown but Mcguire sprawls and moves away.
Charles misses with a body punch
and Mcguire counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Mcguire lands with a straight right. Charles didn't see that one coming.
Mcguire connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Mcguire misses with an uppercut. Charles saw that one coming.
Charles feinted with a counter takedown.
Charles throws a body shot but no joy.

Mcguire swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Charles bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Mcguire is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Charles locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Mcguire is forced to tap!
