Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Archie Griffiths (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luana Peroba Filgueiras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffiths punishes Filgueiras's body with a nice straight punch.

Archie Griffiths seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Filgueiras shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Griffiths sprawls well. Griffiths wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Filgueiras gets slowly back to his feet.
Griffiths ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Filgueiras moves away.
Griffiths stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Griffiths wants it to stay on the feet.
Griffiths throws a nice looking combination but Filgueiras bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

It looked like Griffiths wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Griffiths digs a right hand into Filgueiras's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Filgueiras's gas tank.

Griffiths is pressed up against the cage. Filgueiras has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Griffiths down to the mat. Griffiths avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Griffiths fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Filgueiras looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Griffiths drops Filgueiras with a beautiful combination! Filgueiras stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Griffiths is looking for the KO!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Griffiths batters Filgueiras with a massive right followed by a huge left! Filgueiras is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Griffiths lands a final crushing right hand to drop Filgueiras to the mat with a gruesome thud! Griffiths is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
